Intro:- all country celebrate teacher's day on different day but Every year in India (speacialy on Guru Purnima) and many other (total 19)country celebrate world teacher's day on 5th September by unesco(1994). It had been started since 1962, the birthday of the second president Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (5 September) althrough Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born 1885, 5 september but his academic appointments included professor of Philosophy and ethics.
Jaharlal neheru said,‘‘He has served his nation in many capacities. but above all he is a great teacher from whom all of us have learnt much and will continue to learn.’’
On this day, teachers and students report to school as usual but the usual activities and classes are replaced by activities of celebration, thanks and remembrance. In some schools, senior students take the responsibility of teaching in order to show their appreciation for the teachers.
‘‘Better than a thousand days of dilligent study is one day with a great teacher’’.
